Meet Dr. Eva Ceranowicz
Dr. Eva Ceranowicz is a Connecticut native, having grown up in Waterbury, who had the ambition of becoming a veterinarian since she was five years old. She is a University of Connecticut graduate with an undergraduate degree in pathobiology and received her veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has practiced small animal medicine in Connecticut since 1990 and is a former co-host of the WTIC 1080 radio show “Pet Talk.”
Dr. Ceranowicz serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and is a past President of the association, where she is still actively involved in educational program development and government relations. She is a past recipient of the CVMA Veterinarian of the Year Award. She is also a past president of the Hartford County Veterinary Medical Association (HCVMA).
Dr. Ceranowicz lives in West Suffield with her husband and their son. They met working at the Greater Hartford Veterinary Emergency Hospital while students at UConn and have both brought numerous pets home over the years. They currently have two dogs and one cat..... and the occasional field mouse.
